Operating as a marketing freelancer since 2008, formerly of Balance Web Marketing (owner May 2017 – July 2025), Suzi Baker’s consultancy services are complemented by her collaboration with experienced PR consultants, photographers, filmmakers, designers, copywriters and social media professionals. 

Working with a client portfolio of architects, hospitality interiors designers, luxury fixtures and fittings manufacturers, Suzi’s rebrand to ‘Suzi Baker, PR Consultancy’ in July 2025 reflects niche industry relationships nurtured over the last decade, ensuring her clients benefit from a powerful added value service proposition.

Suzi has worked with major client Focus SB® for over 10 years. Manufacturing and finishing premium electrical accessories in-house in East Sussex, Focus SB made history in its industry as the first and only British (and European) company to achieve licence for its products and sell directly to mainland China’s luxury construction market in 2017. The multi-award winning company was awarded The King’s Awards for Enterprise for International Trade in 2023 winner trophy by HRH The Princess Royal at a ceremony in St Leonards-on-Sea which Suzi was proud to be involved with.

A varied career path has included photojournalism, web marketing (agency and client side), marine (B2C editorial) and interiors (B2B), manufacturing PR, interior design and construction, editor of CFR (Carpet & Flooring Review). As a search engine optimisation (SEO) freelancer for home interiors PR agency In The White Room, Suzi worked on projects for Crosswater bathrooms and ROM sofas. 

Suzi has also worked as an accomplished commissioned fine artist, editorial, portrait and stills photographer, a character model and a supporting actress.

Commissioning photography and involvement with client video production sees Suzi touch base with her creative roots once more, inspiring her to start her own arts project in December 2024 since becoming a member of PhotoHastings – working title ‘Pink Concrete’.
